The UMA designs an innovative ocular goniometer for treating astigmatism
Developed by engineers based on the idea of ophthalmologist Salvador Nebro, this "innovative", rechargeable, portable and wifi-enabled device adds precision, speed and cost savings to the surgical treatment of this anomaly.
The University of Malaga (UMA) has developed the 'GO' ocular goniometer, a new prototype, the brainchild of ophthalmologist Salvador Nebro, for the treatment of astigmatism.
It is an "innovative" device, rechargeable, portable and with Wi-Fi technology, which, among its advantages, adds precision, speed and cost savings in the surgical treatment of this anomaly that generates distorted vision, according to the university.
